Creating a road map for where you want to go in your life is crucial if you want to succeed. It it important to develop the self-discipline that is necessary to self-direct in order to accomplish the goals you set for yourself. If you constantly need someone else to tell you to do what you know you need to do, you will spend most of your days wasting time and energy.

Understand this: Your vision is yours alone and there isn’t a soul on planet earth that will ever see the vision you have for life as clearly as you do. Stay focused by preparing for each day ahead and follow up by taking action. Do not let yourself down by not holding yourself accountable. Always keep the promises you have made to yourself, especially when you just don’t feel like doing that which you know in your heart needs to be done. If you do, you will slowly lose faith in your abilities to accomplish anything at all.

We hear all the time about the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people, and this is true. You want people around you that believe in your and push you to become greater; however, never lose sight of the fact that your vision is yours alone.
